Philippine ROagnarok OnlineTeam Claims 2nd Runner-up Title @The RWC 2010

Team Philippines made history once again as they captured 2nd runner-up in the Ragnarok World Championships 2010 last October 2 and 3 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The Philippine RO contingent, composed of teammates Brian Kenneth Victa, Precious Anne Branal, Trixian Joy Barroquiña, Nick Lanozo, Leonard Jasper Santos, Franchesca Fajardo and Gabriel Antonio Mendoza, went head-to-head against the best Ragnarok players the world over in their quest to claim the RWC championship.
The RO Philippine team demonstrated their world-class gaming skills to an excited Indonesian gaming community, besting teams from Brazil and France to reach the semifinals against Japan. An intense back-and forth battle against the Japanese team soon followed, with Japan going to the finals. In the end, Team Philippines faced off against Taiwan in the battle for third place, and we claimed the 2nd runner up title in this year’s RWC tournament.
“Though the RWC crown remains elusive, we’ve shown once again that Filipinos are at the top of their game in international cybersports.” says Jake San Diego, General Manager of Level Up! Games. “We are very proud of Team Philippines for winning 2nd runner up at this year’s world championship.”
The Philippine RO team will be given a hero’s welcome at the grandest stage in online gaming, Level Up! Live 2010, happening on November 6 and 7 at the World Trade Center, Pasay City.

In the ancient times, there was the Goddess Etain and the three races she created: the Dragons, the Nordein, and the Dumianas.
The Goddess Etain found faults in the Nordien and cast them into the soil. In their arrogance, the Dumianas questioned the Etain's power and authority. The Goddess was weakened by their disbelief , and the Dumianas killed her. Her soul was torn in two.
The death of the Goddess left Teos out of balance and unprotected. Other Gods sought to take over Teos and created monsters to invade and destroy.
When the dust settled, there were two new Goddesses overseeing Teos.
The Dragons hid themselves from the world. The remaining Dumianas were split into two factions; one for each Goddess.
These two races, the Elves and the Vail, find themselves in constant conflict with each other. Age old tensions fuel their aggression. Soon after, the Humans joined forces with the Elves while the Nordein re-emerged as the "Deatheaters" and allied with the Vail creating two factions: The Alliance of Light and the Union of Fury. Not only battling the monsters that still roam the lands, these two sides wage a never ending war over the control of Teos.

Bandmaster Philippines Open Beta Test soon

Band Master’s Open Beta is just around the corner and everyone at X-Play is knee-deep into the preparations for this next exciting Testing phase!

We’d like to announce that you can now use your e-Games account to play in the Band Master CBT! Please make sure to download the Manual Patch if you used the old installer or installed from the DVD before playing.

Please do take note of the following:

• Existing CBT Accounts will be wiped out. Even your characters will be wiped out as well.
• Access to servers will opened to the public and you will be able to use your own e-Games Accounts. If you don’t have an e-Games Account you may register at http://portal.e-games.com.ph
• We are still in CBT Phase but the CBT Servers will now be opened to everyone.
• Game Content will still be the same. We’ll be having additional new content in OBT.

Dragonica OBT starts on August 24!

Dragonica, the most anticipated Casual MMORPG, will begin its Open Beta Testing (OBT) Phase on August 24 at exactly 12 Noon!

What are the things to expect in the OBT? To start off, the Lavalon Map will be opened. This scorching hot area will have unique environs with monsters and mobs to slay! There’s more! The Level Cap is up to 45 so you can slay and do more! On top of that, there will be new cash shop items in the Big Wheel to help you in your quests!

But the biggest addition is that there won’t be any Character wipes! Your OBT character will stay until Dragonica goes commercial!
